Printing use to be a lucritive Profession

Many studies have been done on printing in the mid 90's and printing is almost always one of the professions that is touted as having the potential to make the shop owner or sales rep a millionaire. Every business on the face of the planet needs some type of printed material. It may just be a business card or a postcard, but some type of printing will be required by everyone who operates a business. Even though this may be, not everyone wants to run a press or cut paper. Not everyone has the mechanical aptitude to run the equipment required to operate a printing business, not to mention the cost of the required equipment.

Whats Going on with the second oldest profession in the world

Can any one tell me in there opinion where the printing and publishing industry is heading in the next 5 years ?
